Sketch Meet: Sandwich Village Saturday September 12, 10am to 12pm
Sandwich Village Sketch Meetup
Join us for a morning of sketching, fresh air, and creative community in historic Sandwich Village! Whether you're a seasoned artist or opening a sketchbook for the first time, all skill levels are welcome.
📍 Meeting Spot
We will meet at Mill Creek Park near the pedestrian walkway [Google Map Coordinates]. The park is across Main Street from Dexter Grist Mill and Old Town Hall (junction of Main Street & Rt 130).
⏰ Schedule:
- 10:00 AM: Meetup, quick introductions, and head out to find your sketch spot!
- 12:00 PM: Reconvene at the park for our sketchbook "Throwdown" to share work, chat, and take photos.

- Dexter Grist Mill
- Sandwich Spring Water Fountain
- Shawme Lake
- First Church Sandwich UCC
- Dan’l Webster Inn
- Sandwich Public Library
- Tree-lined streetscapes along Main Street.
- Old Town Hall Note: Old Town Hall exterior is currently under renovation, but it could be an interesting urban sketch. 🙂
💡Good to Know:
- What to Bring: Your favorite sketching supplies and a portable stool or chair if you prefer to sit while drawing.
- Parking: Street parking along Main Street or in the Sandwich Public Library lot. NOTE: please do not part at the Sandwich Glass museum unless you plan to visit the museum
- Restrooms: Public toilets are located right in the park, as well as at Old Town Hall (opens at 11 AM) and the Sandwich Public Library.
